Shame in Organisations : Workshop Series Two

Come along as Dr Susan Mravlek presents her Phd research about Shame in organisations. Over two sessions, the group will learn about shame, its prevalence in organisational life and its insidious impact upon organisations. As well as exploring how you might come to know shame and its impact, these sessions will consider how you might use an understanding of shame related dynamics in your work with and within organisations.
Session 1, Tuesday 27th October: Will explore what is meant by shame and how it may manifest in organisational environments. (Complete)
Session 2, Thursday 17th November: Will continue the exploration of how shame might manifest in organisations as well as looking at how we can work with shame in our various organisational roles.
Susan is an organisational consultant specialising in organisational effectiveness and culture change. Coaching boards, executives, groups and individuals on better understanding group relations and complex dynamics to improve effectiveness and coherence. Susan uses qualitative inquiry methods and thoughtful analysis to explore what drives system dynamics and the affects on roles/role relations when impacted by disruptive change.
