This panel discussion will explore similarities and differences in the evolution and practice of group relations from a US, British and Australian perspective, and consider future directions. Panel members include James Krantz, USA, Leslie Brissett, UK, and Nuala Dent, Australia. The panel will be moderated by Jinette de Gooijer.
James Krantz is an organisational consultant and researcher from New York. He is a distinguished member of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organisations, a Fellow of the A.K. Rice Institute and has directed and been on staff of many Group Relations conferences. Leslie Brissett is the Director of the Group Relations Program at the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations. He is interested in the lived experience of being an earth-bound entity, and applies spiritual and group relations lenses to make sense of life. He has directed the Group Relations Mothership, Leicester Conference, six times. Nuala Dent is an organisational consultant and coach in Melbourne, whose work integrates systems psychodynamic and art-based approaches. She is the Director of the GRA 2022 conference ‘The history of now: creating meaning (in the present moment)’. Jinette de Gooijer is a practicing artist, past president and founding member of GRA, and directed the 2015, 2018 and 2021 GRA group relations conferences.
