Working in a hybrid environment – an experiential learning series

February 5 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

$250 – $300

Ask yourself – how do you build your understanding of the group dynamics occurring in a hybrid meeting environment? What can you learn and apply to your own organisations and clients? You may be a leader, a manager, or perhaps a consultant supporting organisations in the hybrid working transition or a worker seeking to understand how to take up your role more effectively.

This series is for you if you’re curious to explore the dynamics of working in hybrid environments.  Perhaps you are grappling with improving or fine-tuning hybrid working in a workplace or are contemplating challenges facing you and your team.

Hybrid meetings are firmly entrenched in the work experience. Yet, the ‘how’ of running one is an emergent art.  The ways that they are configured, the mix of physical spaces used, kinds of audio-visual technology included, the behavioural ‘how we be’ is variable. People’s experiences are mixed and impacts on productivity and well-being, both positive and negative are emerging.

Participants will work together in an experiential learning format, to share the challenges and discoveries already made, explore as yet unsurfaced or not yet recognised impacts, and to think together about how to make the hybrid environment an enriching experience.

Two facilitators, Andrea Foot and Fiona Martin, will support the group in its work together by providing a structured approach to thinking together including activities.  Their role is to create an environment that enables reflective thinking and for creativity and collaboration to emerge.

Four 90-minute sessions held on Monday evenings in February and March 2024 – 6:00pm to 7:30pm on a weekday, with three working sessions and a review and application session.

Dates below:
Monday Feb 5th 2024
Monday Feb 19th 2024

Attendees will choose whether to join the meeting via Zoom or attend in person at VAPP (Victorian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists) in Melbourne connecting via Zoom, except for the final session which will be held online.  If you choose to join online, you will be emailed the link to join the week before.
