Socioanalysis Reading Group

This reading group will be exploring Socioanalysis over the years to help us understand the challenges of the contemporary world.

Over the years, Socioanalysis had published some important articles promoting the field of system psychodynamics. Many of those articles are applicable to and helpful in understanding the challenges of our contemporary world. This reading group will explore these articles, and where possible, we will invite the author of the article to the session.

Hosts:
Fred Wright has over 40 years’ experience in public sector administration in a range of operational and senior management positions across Victorian Government Departments including Justice, Human Services, Environment and Primary Industries.

Fred is Chair of the International Outreach Committee of the International Ombuds Association (IOA), Co-Chair of the Asia Pacific Regional Advisory Committee of the IOA, Chair of GroupRelations Australia (GRA), and a board member of the National Institute of Organisational Dynamics (NIODA).

Kristina Karlsson is the Founder and Owner of Outside In, a business that offers professional supervision, executive coaching, and organisational consulting services to clients from various sectors and backgrounds. She has over 20 years of experience in diverse fields suchas law,mediation, banking, and native title. She is also a PhD Candidate at the National Institute of Organisation Dynamics Australia (NIODA), where she is now researching how Systems Psychodynamic reflective practice can support teachersin their professional development and well-being. Kristina has published papers in peer-reviewed journals, presented at international conferences,and won the Bridger Award for the most original and creative paper at the ISPSO Annual Meeting 2019.
