DESCRIPTION:\n			\n		\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				When: Four sessions – 6pm – 9pm\, on the 25th Feb and 3rd\, 10th and 17th March 2020 \nThis facilitated reading\, discussion and application group is run weekly by John Newton. It will discuss selected readings concerning the psychodynamics of public leadership and applying concepts\, examples and insights to current work experience. \nThe objectives of this group are; \n\nTo think about contemporary challenges\, what is expected and what is feasible\, for leaders and people in positions of authority in the Public Sector.\nTo question the stress and moral ambiguity in taking up a leadership role in an environment made increasingly complex by identity politics\, media overload\, cultures of complaint\, value diversity and declining confidence in public institutions\nTo explore the use of responsible discretion and the art of judgement in public sector leadership.\n\nBookings: $200 for Members / $300 for Non-Members.
